About Diana
From a barber's chair in Ecuador to the biggest rooms in business.
I'm Diana Lorenti: growth strategist, author, and speaker. For 20+ years, I've helped brands understand why people decide what they decide, and grow because of it.
My Story
My grandfather was a barber in Ecuador. He raised me.
Some of my most important lessons didn't come from a classroom. They came from sitting with him while he talked to me about life, openly and honestly, the way few adults talk to a child. He taught me to think deeper and to see people more clearly.
We had very little. My shoes were limited. My clothes were limited. Everything was limited. And the less I had, the more my ambition grew.
I came to the United States looking for a better future, with big dreams and a scarcity mindset I had to learn to overcome. I wanted financial freedom: to give my children a different life, to give myself a beautiful one, and to help others build theirs. For me, money has never been about things. It's about the freedom of options.
Early in my career, I worked in environments where very few people shared my cultural background. As a Latina with an accent, I was often conscious of what made me different.
For a while, I saw those differences as something I needed to navigate.
I built much of my career as a single mother, and I learned fast that time and energy are the most valuable budget you'll ever manage.
But eventually, I realized something that changed the direction of my career.
What made me different was also what made me valuable.
My accent was part of my story. My cultural background shaped how I understood people, connected with different audiences, and recognized opportunities others might overlook.
I began building my career around that unique value proposition, turning cultural intelligence and an understanding of human behavior into a strategic advantage.
That realization became much bigger than my career.
It taught me that growth doesn't always require becoming someone different. Sometimes, it begins with recognizing the value you've been carrying all along and intentionally building from it.
That belief is at the heart of my book, Built for Bigger Rooms, and THE ICON Method™.
My story isn't proof that anyone can do it. It's proof that strategy works, and strategy can be learned.
You don't find yourself. You build yourself.

The Truth
None of it happened alone.
I'm an executive, a mom, an author, and a business owner. I don't do it all, and I've stopped pretending I should.
Along the way, I found mentors who saw something in me before I fully saw it myself. They opened doors, gave me honest feedback, and showed me what was possible.
As I grew, I learned to build a team at home the same way I'd build one at work. Today I delegate the tasks that don't need me, like help around the house, meals, and organizing, so I can give my best to the things that do: my family, my work, and my health.
Asking for help isn't weakness. It's strategy.
The more you grow, the more support you need. Every leader you admire has a team behind them. You deserve one too.
